| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
we arrived at the Lafayette Place Campground parking lot mid-afternoon, got the last open space. but several hikers were just arriving back and more spots would be opening up. Many fellow hikers said there were no spots early am. |

Water crossings were manageable. Lots of running water. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails were muddy in spots, some of the bog bridges were broken or sinking into the mud. Very slippery due to wetness. Overall, the trails were in good shape. Boulders and roots were wet and slippery. |

all dogs we encountered were well-behaved, NO issues |

Great day for hiking. We spent Sunday night at Lonesome Lake Hut. Did the out and back to the North and South Kinsman Peaks via Fishin Jimmy Trail and Kinsman Ridge. weather was partly cloudy, not too hot, minimal breeze. |
