| Comments: |
As a follow-up to our brushing/blowdown removal report from August 2, the entire section of the Elwell Trail from 0.3 miles west of the summit of Bear Mountain all the way to the Oregon Mountain Trail intersection has been re-blazed, cairns rebuilt, and had additional brushing done for line-of-sight of the blazes. Four short relocations were blazed anew, and the old trail sections' blazes camo-painted over.
With this work, and going forward, the entire ~10+ miles of Elwell Trail from Newfound Lake to the intersection with the Mowglis Trail is actively maintained. |
