Comments
Comments: Amazing day hitting all the Osceolas with Ms. Margaret. Trails were very wet-shocking! We took the bypass down and Margaret couldn’t stop talking about the chimney so she went for it and did awesome-zero boosts required:) Thanks to Mike the mountain guide who was at the top of the chute snapping some photos of us that he then texted over-much appreciated!!! Coming down Osceola the herd path entrance is dead ahead where you turn left at the first switchback. It is brushed in and has limbs hanging in front of it but easy to spot and the path is well-defined. There are some spots on way to middle where multiple herd paths appear but they all get you to where you need to go it appeared. Lots of blowdowns, as expected, but the woods are beautiful and path is easy to follow. The black PVC summit canister is ~20’ south of the path and not visible from the “trail” so you have to search a bit but easy to find. From middle to west there is only one well-defined path. Scramble up to Peggy’s Perch was easy-what a beautiful spot!!! Margaret wouldn’t believe me that it is named after her:) The canister is about ten seconds beyond the Perch directly in middle of path. M really enjoyed signing her name into both and said that she looks forward to future bushwhacks.
