Plenty of water for dogs on Tuckerman Ravine Trail up to Tuckerman Junction, water at start of Lion Head Trail, lower part of Jewel, and Ammonoosuc Ravine trail below Lakes of the Clouds Hut. Above treeline, there no water past Lakes of the Clouds on Crawford Path or on Jewel Trail. Experienced hiking dogs will have no issues on these trails, just monitor their pads. |

| Comments: |
All trails in good condition with the usual muddy spots below treeline on Ammonoosuc and Jewel from all the rain but I don't recall any blowdowns. Weather looks spectacular the next few days so expect busy trails and over flowing parking lots on both sides of the mountain during the three day weekend. Get there super early to get a spot and avoid crowds.
Lakes of the Clouds has been lacking in the baked good department most of the summer and I rarely have seen lemonade too so take that in consideration when packing your snacks! |
