Comments
Comments: As mentioned above, the GCC has been doing a lot of work out here; a noticeable difference from when I visited earlier in the year. Thank you!

East Peak Trail is a brand new route to Cogswell's East Peak. It uses a newly-cut section of footpath and an old logging road. Recent clearing on East Peak has really opened up the view across Crystal Lake to Rocky Mtn.

At least two other trails are in the works. A route currently signed as "Future Trail" will provide an alternate approach to East Peak and will allow for a loop hike. I also saw mention on the GCC Facebook page that the woods road that connects Main Trail to the cul-de-sac at the end of Lou Lane will also be recleared.

All of these trails were mainly dry despite yesterday's rain, and there was only a small amount of mud. Looking forward to returning as work progresses!
