The new relocation on Lakeview Trail is very well constructed and located. Wide too! Unfortunately, the non-relocated sections of these trails are very eroded with lots of widening from heavy foot traffic. |

This visit was to check out the relocation on Lakeview Trail. A quarter mile or so of the trail has been moved onto a wide, smooth, and well-built pathway.
The "lake view" from Lakeview Trail as well as the upper viewpoint near the summit are starting to slowly disappear due to tree growth. Still pretty good though and the distant views to the Whites were crystal clear thanks to no humidity. |
