Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The parking noted in the current SNHTG is not really viable anymore due to adjacent home construction. I parked in one of the two small pulloffs at the top of Pike Hill Rd. in Plymouth. This is literally right over the Hebron/Plymouth town line and right before a private driveway leaves on the left.

Comments: How to avoid crowded hiking trails on a holiday weekend: Don't go where the crowds are. Plymouth Mtn. for the win!

I made another visit here to not only check on the parking but to investigate a report from a hiker regarding a possible error in the SNHTG description. Unfortunately (or fortunately), I could not replicate the info they provided, so I'm not sure what they encountered. The current description still applies.

As noted above, this trail remains in really good condition. Down low things are a bit wet but after that it was mainly dry. Noted one short relocation around a mucky spot that I don't remember from last time.

I only saw six people all day, and that was shortly past the summit. I saw no one at all on Plymouth Mtn. Trail. As quiet as can be and I'll take it.
