| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parking along the road. The later you get there, the longer your walk to the trail! Holiday weekend-another hiker said they counted 80 cars in front of them on the road. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
|
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Either bridges or large, well-placed boulders for crossing |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Great trails! Plenty of built-in steps going up Gorge Brook. Carriage Road had more significant areas of mud and standing water, mostly able to get around without difficulty. Trails were well defined except for one minor area as you cross a stream with boulders on either Carriage Rd. or Snapper. We were able to pick the trail back up quickly by walking down the stream. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Good trail for dogs! |
|
| Bugs: |
Some mosquitoes near parking. No problems on the trails. |

| Comments: |
Great trail for a first 4K! We had several first timers with our group. Trails were very well maintained! Nothing too challenging and the views were amazing! Coming down Carriage Road and Snapper was mostly kind to my knees. |
