Comments
Comments: We started by 7:15 am to get an early start on the day. Old Jackson Road was in good shape, as was Nelson Crag. Really enjoyed Nelson Crag -a wonderful wilderness feel, lightly used and rugged. It was steep and rough as noted in the book -trickiest spot was just past the first road turn off where the trail and the auto road met -bit of mild scrambling to get up to Nelson Crag. Really enjoyed this trail!
