Comments: Watertower Path, Constance Winant (yellow) Trail, Rivington Winant (red) Trail, Joan Winant (blue) Trail

Had time while car was in shop in south Concord. Walked into city center, then up to White Park before continuing up to Winant. Entered Winant Park on the water tower path off Auburn St. I didn't know what to expect, and had no real plans (basically I stumbled on to this wonderful park and trail system). Was a very pleasantly surprised.

Trails were easy to follow and well marked. And there are several informational plaques describing features, like the vernal pool, old growth forest, and the old St Paul's ski tow. Was fun to look for the old pullies high in the trees from the ski tow. Near the summit the lookout to the south west provided views of Monadnock, the north peak and Crotched Mtn, among others. Actual summit is slightly off the path, I believe. Was wonderful to explore some of these woods while car was being repaired; will definitely come back to check out more.
