| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parked on north side of Kanc at ~0700, first car there. One other upon return at ~10:30. Room on both sides of the road's pulloffs for maybe 8 cars total. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |

|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Don't need to get anything other than the soles of shoes wet if you don't want to. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
One very large blow down about halfway between the Kanc and Livermore Pass. Would be a bear to get rid of. Easy enough to climb on/over, but some may have trouble getting up there with shorter legs. No room to go under. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Would be great for them. Plenty of water and nothing that would require assistance. |
|
| Bugs: |
Nope. |

| Comments: |
Finally finished Livermore Road from the north. Trail is pleasant for most of it, except for the mud. Several areas have "some" mud, but rock hoppable/root hoppable. Mostly in the flat areas and "meadows". There are howver, a few spots with real boot-sucking stuff. In one I went to mid calf in oatmeal consistency muck. Thankfully it was on the way back out and was able to wash off in one of the crossings. Make sure you've got some bug juice or permethrin on because I can definitely see the grassy areas being tick heaven. |
