Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Bridged, but not running.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in great shape. Two step overs shortly after the log bench; one leaner that could be cleared. And, a log bench, if one needs a rest, around half way up to the summit.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Cooper had a great hike. No water on the trails, except a few puddles, but running water is preferred. There was running water near the parking lot /trail head; good for a soak and drinking, especially on a hot day.
Bugs
Bugs: Some down low.

Comments
Comments: Quick hike on this lovely trail. Nice walk in the woods, nothing too steep (wanted something more gradual since we hiked Cannon the day before). We were the only ones at the summit; passed 3 on the trail. Good views, although a bit hazy. At higher elevations, some rocks were slick with moisture and there was one very nasty large puddle near the summit with a bypass to avoid the mud. Most other muddy sections were just squishy.
