| Comments: |
We went up Lion Head Trail (after reaching it via Tuckerman Ravine Trail) and down Tuckerman Ravine Trail, in the rain, which was heavy at times. Descending from the summit to Hermit Lake Shelters is slow going when the rocks are wet and slippery. There is water running down Tuckerman Ravine Trail in a few places on the headwall, but one can avoid it enough to keep feet dry. In two places on Tuckerman Ravine Trail (near Hermit Lake Shelters, I think), water has pooled along the trail, but there are enough rocks to rock hop through these tiny pools. |
