Gunstock Mountain Trail trailhead has been relocated; trail now starts outside the gate, avoiding the mud and sidehill of the former beginning. Relo is probably not too much longer than the original, but does avoid some vertical.
Trails were wet this afternoon following the rain. Lots of puddles, running water, and wet ledge. Not too much mud to speak of per se, but slow going due to the aforementioned conditions.
Cloudy afternoon with some breaks of sun. Summits were initially in the fog, but began to break out around dinner time. |
