Comments
Comments: Parked at the sharp turn on Four Mile Brook Road just before the bridge E of the peaks. Started up through sharp brambles and regrowth toward the saddle between Crystal and S Crystal Peaks. Eventually, I hit the end of the logging and followed some very wet old logging roads and moose paths to the saddle. Bushwhacked up S Crystal through open woods. Saw a bull moose about halfway up and a bull/cow couple right near the summit. Retraced my steps and bushwhacked up Crystal through more open woods. Saw another bull moose at the summit of Crystal. Angled down the SE ridge of Crystal through more open woods until I hit the top of logging cuts after which it was more regrowth, deep mud, and sharp brambles until I hit the road near the truck.
