| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Got one of the last spots in the Rattlesnake lot at 9:30 thanks to a very large group that went up. |
| Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable |
| Recommended Equipment: |
| Water Crossing Notes: |
Easy rock hops. |
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails are in pretty good shape. There was one fresh blowdown (likely from yesterday’s storm) on the way up Morgan that had been partially cleared when we got to it, but it could use a little more work. |
| Dog-Related Notes: |
We bypassed the ladders since the transition to the top one is tough for dogs and ours wanted nothing to do with it. We did do the boulder cave route, but none of the dogs up there today liked it. One flat out refused and turned around. I essentially carried ours through (and she’s fifty pounds). The third was also partly carried through. Really not recommended for dogs. |
| Bugs: |
Saw two mosquitos. |

| Comments: |
See note above about dogs. I definitely would take the bypasses if you are with a dog (or a small child). Not sure why we didn’t bypass the caves. Don’t know what we were thinking.
Otherwise, a great day to be out! Weather was perfect! |
