Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: bridges, few step overs
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails mostly great. Section in spruce before summit was pretty muddy with many bypasses into the spruce. Could some bog bridges help clean up the trail?
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Coop's 4th time up here this year. Such a great trail for pups; gradual incline, no rough jagged rocks, water for drinking and cooling off on lower sections of trail. Nice discussions on summit about best 4K hikes with pups. Someone recommended a harness with a handle for tough jumps, I carry booties (with duct tape to secure them) just in case; none needed for this hike. Saw one lovely Golden sporting her 4K club patch on her harness and many other friendly pups; fun heading off the summit with Finn, Clover, and another Cooper.
Bugs
Bugs: none

Comments
Comments: Fun hike to get out and enjoy the day. Little hazy at the summit in the afternoon, but overall great time and wonderful views. Lots of others out doing the same. Some water on trails in the usual places. Group training for rescue near the trail head; many thanks to them.
