Star King appears to be regraded with new signage; space for about 2 dozen cars in lot. Overflow parking seems to be only available at the lot next to the store; lot across street is being used. |

Coop had a blast. Small feeder streams had some water for drinking, but limited at higher elevations. Nice stream next to the parking lots for final wash. |

Limited time for a quick hike, so only went to Star King. But, had a great opportunity to talk to trail maintenance guys heading out to clean up the trail and add blazing between Waumbek and Middle Weeks. Many thanks to them for keeping the trails cleared and in tip-top shape; sounded like the earlier spring clean-up was quite challenging. Trail is ready for all on the Coos trail and many more. |
