Running water on parts of Pine Link between hut and Howker Ridge junction. Trail section near the hut has some ugly mud pits. |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
A few blowdowns from Hurricane Lee. All minor except on Pine Link about 0.3 or so from Pine Link trailhead, and on Howker Ridge near Hitchcock Falls, both places 6-8 diameter hardwood blowdowns that are moderately challenging to bypass. Looks like someone recently did a little branch clipping on upper Pine Link, but there are still many places where the trail is growing in. Wind blew rules sign off post at Pine Link trailhead. |
