Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: upper end of Black Mountain Road is a bit rough from the first trail sign. Managed to travel another .1 mile up towards Trailhead and hiked in with a carspot on East Branch Road.

Water Crossing Notes: 1 wooden bridged crossing and 4 or 5 minor flows crossing trail.no issues 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail in good shape. Shortly after east pasture loop intersection trail has slightly washed out. At .3 from this intersection is a large step over blowdown as well as a smaller duck under in same spot. Nearing the trailhead on East Branch Road there is another duck under blowdown.

Comments
Comments: Nice hike of this trail through a rolling mix of beautiful hardwoods and evergreens. Scenic Vista spur is grown in with trees and long grass. There was a faint path visible and managed to avoid any ticks.
