Two large blowdowns on the Ridge Trail south of the Col Trail junction (been there most of the summer, so prominent herd paths formed) |

Loop was fairly dry with the exception of a few small wet areas.
Foliage still mostly green.
Beautiful late afternoon weather with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the 60s. |
