Comments
Comments: I enjoyed talking to the three girls in the parking lot helped me the All Trails map for this hike. Thank you. I wanted to finish up all of the Franconia Ridge peaks. I read taking this route was Lincoln was a good idea if Flume slide trail had received a lot of rain. I enjoyed the hiking this route and the stair section was really engineered too. Several sections before and after the stair section were thick mud and hard to avoid. I really liked both peaks because you got to see good views of the Pemi’s. I didn’t think I was going to hike over to Mount Liberty after Mount Flume because it was too late, but after taking theses two girls picture the the one girl said to me “just do it” and off I ywent. I never sat down or took my pack off. I ate drank as o hiked. Left the parking lot at 10:10am and returned at 6:55pm just as it was turning dark. 13 miles round trip. It was a long hike, but very happy I did it!
Plus It was Great day to hike in cool weather, no rain good visibility, other than a few clouds that obstructed some views.
