Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: If memory serves correctly, the trails were marked with plastic diamonds tacked to trees and Main Jct was marked with red, South Peak Trail with green, and North Peak Loop with blue, diamonds. I believe markings were frequent, just be sure you stay on the trail, and don’t go onto the differently marked hike trails that often intersect. I don’t recall any blowdowns and the trails seemed to be in good shape to me. As far as I recall, signage was intact.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Sure
Bugs
Bugs: None but note that there were spots I could definitely see as tick laden.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: None

Comments
Comments: 2nd hike of the day with the CCC :) This is a nice little trail system with some decent views sprinkled about. We ascended South Peak on our way in, then hiked the North Peak Loop clockwise so as to ascend the easier way, being the lazy slackers we are. The trails are well marked and easy to follow, just be sure to stay on the one you want and not accidentally get on one of the many bike trails that intersects. The only place I really recall any mud was where the North Peak Loop diverges into its two “halves”. This spot was also very grassy and could be full of ticks. Gaia had us at 3.5mi, 550ft of gain. 1.8mph avg speed, 2.9mph moving speed.
