Trail Maintenance Notes: I think the trails were marked with diamonds tacked to trees but it may have been normal paint blaze as well. The jct with Bog Trail is not signed nor do I believe it was signed at its start.

Comments
Comments: 3rd and final hike of the day with the CCC after Bald Ledge with the parents and North and South Peak in Whitten Woods Conservation Area. The jct with Bear Pond is obvious and the pond was scenic. A herd path continued beyond the end of the blue blazing. Continuing on to the summit was pretty easy. On the way back down, we turned left onto Bog Trail, which I don’t believe was signed but is shown on Gaia, and followed it down to Fogg Hill Rd. Note that the trail touches the off-white cul-de-sac shown on Gaia but then diverges right and does not reach the road until Gaia shows it as a usual road further down. Bog Trail had some steeper sections and lots of wet rock/minor slab; there may have been some mud too. Upon reaching Fogg Hill Rd, we continued down to the base, then turned right onto Piper Hill Rd and followed it back to the car. Total distance on roads was about 3/4mi. Gaia had us at almost 3mi, about 300ft of gain, 53min.
