Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: There were some easy water crossings across crystal-clear streams, and someone kindly put down a short log so that crossing could be easier.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Most of the trail was good, just some leaves covering the trail a bit (which is totally a normal Fall thing:).
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: We saw many pups on the trail! There were doing great. The trail does get steep with pointy rocks, so just be aware. However, if they’ve already hiked rocky trails, they will be fine.
Bugs
Bugs: One mosquito was on my dad after he spilled his tea on himself. ????
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing was lost except for bits of trash.

Comments
Comments: What a nice hike! Even though the views were a bit hazy, we still saw some mountains. The fire tower gave a better view. This was actually my finishing peak for the 48 4,000 footers (woo-hoo!)! The trail was hard going to the top of the ridge, as it was rocky and steep. On the ridge, before Mt. Carrigain, we fed lots of Gray Jays????????!!! Have a great time on this mountain!

P.S. (To those who are finishing on this peak, congratulations!!)
