a nice loop because it ended up being above the treeline for the majority of the day and the weather was excellent. Direttissma doesn't seem to see a lot of traffic but was otherwise not bad. Small patches of mud on Glen Boulder trail but not much also surprisingly low traffic too. Started to get busier once I passed Boot Spur. Nice orange grasses as you approach Washington. Lion Head trail had some water flowing along it but once again not bad just was getting pretty tired of endless rocks at that point. Nice to end the day on wide and easy Tuckerman Ravine Trail. All in a solid loop with great views for the majority of the day. |
