	Parking/Access Road Notes:	Parked at Trailhead lot Sawyer River Road. 2 vehicles on arrival 4 on return. Plenty of room

	Surface Conditions:	Dry Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

	Recommended Equipment:

	Water Crossing Notes:	All crossings encountered were low and no issue.

	Trail Maintenance Notes:	Sawyer River trail first 1.2 miles of Hancock Notch Trail in super shape

	Dog-Related Notes:	Not today

	Bugs:

	Lost and Found:	Noted a pair of magnifiers in case at kiosk


	Comments:	Beautiful afternoon hike to finish one remaining mile of the Hancock Notch Trail to the bushwhack to the bridge to nowhere. It was nice chatting with the cyclists at the gate as well as the forest service worker at the intersection for Sawyer Pond Trail and Hancock Notch Trail
