| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails were all in great shape. It looks like the Ethan Pond trail maintainer recently cut back encroaching spruce (thank you!) and that trail is fast and clear from Zealand to Thoreau Falls trails. |

| Comments: |
This was an oddly shaped lollipop loop starting with the Zealand trail (which was its normal easy self), quick stop at the hut to shed a layer, Twinway, the Zeacliff view (a must see), down the steep Zeacliff trail, Ethan Pond to the Thoreau Falls trail junction (smooth, flat, and fast), turn around and Ethan Pond trail back to Zealand trail and out. Saw someone on every trail except Zeacliff and Ethan Pond. The Zeacliff view is fantastic while the rock slide / cliffs at the junction of Zeacliff and Ethan Pond trails was a very pleasant surprise. |
