A pleasant short hike, with nice views, although distant peaks were not well seen today due to haze on the horizon. North Peak is well worth the trip; excellent views toward the high western White Mountains. The side trail does seem to end on the ledges. I’m not sure if I ever found the North summit, but continuing further north beyond the highest ledges appeared likely to be a challenging bushwhack and I chose not to press on. Minimal foliage change so far. |
