Comments
Comments: We went north on the East Side trail stopping at the Devils Jacuzzi. There is a sign about 0.5 miles from the trailhead. Go left off the trail and then right at large rock and go upstream a short distance. We also stopped a Nash Bog. There is a sign. It is not possible to walk out onto the bog. After walking on an old road for a while the East Side Trail stops and the Pine Brook Trail goes off to the right. This confused us for a minute as there is no mention of the Pine Brook Trail on the Cohos map or in the guidebook, only a vague mention of a future bypass to avoid a beaver dam. The Caltopo map did show the new bypass, but not the name. We then walked back down Nash Stream Road pass many camps. We did not see anyone.
