| Comments: |
Trail was in good shape, with excellent signage. Especially, clear signage/arrows for the 2-3 re-routes on the trail that are different than what is on our map.
My brother and I walked c.16 miles as a section-hike of the Monadnock Sunapee Trail from trail crossing at Route 9 in Stoddard, NH to the Washington General Store in Washington, NH. What an amazingly well maintained trail, through such varied landscapes! It is a gem, and yet we met so few people hiking it, even on a gorgeous weekend in early Fall. We had a two-day hike with an overnight at the Fox Brook Tent platform deep in the Andorra Forest. |
