Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: There is a wide shoulder where they placed a new culvert across the road on Johnson Brook Road. I had first checked out trying to go via Knockers Hole but there are a lot of No Trespassing signs at Clement Road (really a driveway now) even though it is access to the National Forest?

Comments
Comments: I parked north of the Wanosha Mountain Ridge on Johnson Brook Road. There is an area where they replaced a culvert where the shoulder is very wide with plenty of room to park. Immediately I had to rock hop across the brook. I followed the ridge, I encountered open woods, blow downs, ferns and ledge. Pretty cool some places I walked the spine between two cliffs. Some cool obstructed view of from the communications tower at WV to Tecumseh and Bald Mt. Nearing the summit I realized I only had one hiking pole tucked under my arm instead of two. I retraced my footsteps to where I had climbed over a blow down and tried to recreate my route. When I was about ready to give up, I walked right up to it. I think I am going to tie some orange flagging on my black hiking poles. Found a register. Albee, what the heck? Some people write the strangest things. On my return I went lower and stayed east of the ridge and found the most delightful Beeches and Maple trees. Much easier route back. Nice peak.
