Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There were three notable blowdowns. Two could be handled with a handsaw however there was a larger one needing a chainsaw [this was after Smarts Brook Trail junction heading over to Sandwich Dome. Thanks to the Drakes Brook trail adopter who did great work with maintenance last week!

Comments
Comments: Trail overall was dry but there were some significant muddy sections on Drakes Brook. Super Sandwich Tuesday! It was nice to have company because this hike was absolutely amazing. Sunny skies with temperatures near 70 and shorts/t-shirt weather all day. Foliage is nearly peak with decent reds, oranges and golds.
