	Parking/Access Road Notes:	The Flume is busy during foliage season but spots were open

	Surface Conditions:	Dry Trail

	Trail Maintenance Notes:	With fallen leaves it can be hard at times to decipher which spot is the current trail where it has been fixed near washouts but in general it's in great shape.

	Dog-Related Notes:	Many dogs from Pyrenees to mini Dachshund! There was one trickle halfway up but otherwise dry trail. Bring water and leash up before the summit cliffs.

	Bugs:	None! despite one kid asking his family who needs bug spray

	Comments:	Too hot (75+) starting at 11am. Busy Flume parking lot and popular trail but not overcrowded. Colors are pre-peak but lovely. Polarized sunglasses help. It was hazy in the distance but not as smokey as last week reports.
