Pleasant 2.2-2.5 mile on Dead Diamond road to trailhead. Beautiful colors…. Neat gorge on Dead Diamond River. A lot of leaf litter on trail but with experience wasn’t hard to follow. Very colorful treetops at multiple view points. Also took a stroll down the Diamond junction trail to Fork of the Diamonds natural area. It’s a spot where Dead Diamond & Swift Diamond rivers meet…. Very cool area. Never saw another hiker all day. |
