Walked short couple hundred of yards up the private drive until I found the boulder on the south side of road, back in the ferns. I could just make out the trail around the boulder and off in to the woods. Followed this trail all the way to the viewless summit. Other's have shared similar reports. On steeper sections, rope are available to assist in the climb. Around ledges, rocks were placed to form chairs, I guess for relaxing. Summit had large cairn with no views. Once at the ledges, I had to search around for the next section of the trail since there are no blazes on the rock ledges; most challenging part of this short hike on nice local trail. |
