Hadn't been up this in a long time. This was plan A - if water crossing was too hard I was going to head up Hale via Firewardens for Plan B. Very pleasant hike, mid-day the summit clouds had risent and I had really good views into the wilderness. Debated going to S Twin but it looked socked in for a while longer. Good color in the valleys!!!! VERY cold at summit and outlooks - I had down coat, raincoat, mittens, hat, etc and was wearing it all though I only stayed 10 minutes at outlook near summit. SO beautiful. Tremendous day. Lots of folks heading up mid-afternoon. |
