Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: No Coop today. Trail would be relatively easy for most hiking pups, nothing challenging, although a bit muddy today. Coop has hiked these trails w/o problems. However, the BW section could be more challenging for pups since the low branches (hobble bush, and even ferns) are right at eye level.

Comments
Comments: Did this an an out and back going up Weir, Flume Rds, and the Weasel trail. Weasel trail had several fairly muddy sections, that required bypassing a bit, pretty common this year. Some logs on trail, but not enough to keep feet out of the mud. Started the bushwhack just before the HOL. Stayed to the south (to avoid the minor peak) of the ridge. Several soft wet areas that needed to be avoided here, as well. Summit canister is easy to locate. Returned along the same lines. Lots of interesting research equipment set up in the woods, even spotted something from the Cornell Ornithology Lab...
