Dog-Related Notes: Road walk fine for dogs, but BW may be more difficult, especially near the summit where there are many uneven moss covered rocks; doesn't seem friendly for pup travel.

Comments
Comments: Walked up the road (past the 90 degree turn) to approximately the HOL, and started the bushwhack almost due west at this point. Couple of low wet regions to avoid, and things got a bit steeper before leveling off near the summit, not bad. Open spruce summit with a blanket of moss on everything, register was easy to find, and in tact. Decided to head straight down (approximately due north) back to my car rather than taking the longer route. Woods were pretty much the same, steeper and a bit rocky up high, becoming more gradual at lower elevations, most pretty open. Quick short hike.
