Comments
Comments: If there had been a box labeled "Damp" under Surface Conditions, I would have checked that instead of "Dry." The rock surfaces were mostly dry. Some nice southerly views from the ledges before the false summit ledge, looking down at low clouds, with nearby peaks poking up through it. No view, of course, at the real "summit," 0.3 mile further on the Rollins trail. Two of us did just Whiteface, as an out and back. Two others of us, much faster, went over to bag Passaconaway also, went down via Dicey's Mill, and they beat us back to the cars!
