Parking/Access Road Notes: Parked at U.S./Canadian Border customs gate there a spots just above last turn around point. Signed for hikers. Carspot at the gated entrance of Deer Hill Campground

Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in super shape. Fairly well blazed and despite shoulder high growth of grasses and brambles in sections there is a well worn path

Dog-Related Notes: Dogs are not allowed on trail to the lake. I did note a camera

Comments: Excellent section hike of the Cohos Trail from the Fourth Connecticut Lake to just below the Deer Hill Campground which is now closed for camping but restrooms are still open. It was nice chatting at length with the couple from S Carolina. Definitely a small world out there!
