Parking/Access Road Notes: Dropped off just below Deer Hill Campground with a carspot on Magalloway Road. There is parking available at this crossing

Water Crossing Notes: Wooden Bridged. No issues  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails are nicely blazed throughout. This section of trails taken today was a pleasure. I did note three substantial blowdowns. The 1st was on Upper Blackcat about 600 north of West Inlet road crossing. The second was on Middle Cat Trail and located approximately 875 feet south of the West Inlet Crossing. The third blowdown is approx .3 miles north of Desmond Valley Road Crossing. I did note The Cohos trail register is full at the falls

Lost and Found: Found and packed out a large mylar balloon in which we fashioned quite a hat.

Comments: Excellent hike of this section of the Cohos Trail. It was nice chatting with the couple at 2nd Connecticut Lake providing support of a FKT attempt as well as the angler at Magalloway crossing who witnessed my golden colored mylar hat.
