Trails are nicely blazed throughout. This section of trails taken today was a pleasure. I did note three substantial blowdowns. The 1st was on Upper Blackcat about 600 north of West Inlet road crossing. The second was on Middle Cat Trail and located approximately 875 feet south of the West Inlet Crossing. The third blowdown is approx .3 miles north of Desmond Valley Road Crossing. I did note The Cohos trail register is full at the falls |

Excellent hike of this section of the Cohos Trail. It was nice chatting with the couple at 2nd Connecticut Lake providing support of a FKT attempt as well as the angler at Magalloway crossing who witnessed my golden colored mylar hat. |
