There are signs for a closure of the small bridge on Tripoli Rd between the Mt Tecumseh TH and the Mt Osceola TH. The signs suggest that if you're heading to East Pond TH or Mt Tecumseh TH you'll want to come in from 93, and if you'd like to hit the Osceola TH that you should come in from Waterville Valley/49.
FWIW There was heavy equipment staged but I was able to drive the length of Tripoli Rd without issue. I'm not sure when this construction will start and none of the signs mentioned the start date. |

The only crossings are right at the beginning and were no issue. |

One blowdown blocking the trail about .3 miles in. |

Mine had a great time. Note that there is no water available beyond the first two water crossings. |

This was a great trip up from Tripoli Rd instead of the more typical approach to Tecumseh. A little more up and downy than coming up from the ski area. I walked Sosman out to the top of the ski area since I needed it for my WMNF trace (52.8%).
Some pretty colors are out, and I got my first winter precipitation of the season (graupel maybe?). |
