Trail Maintenance Notes: Lots of wet leaves but otherwise trail in good condition!
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: My golden did fine on Wildcat Ridge, BUT he is an AVID whites hiker (he's done Flume & Tripyramid Slides, Whiteface, Washington, etc.) We ran into the dog who needed to be rescued this day and helped them out. Your dog will be okay if they are used to hiking in the whites, but please always bring booties and monitor their paw pads!
Bugs
Bugs: None! What a relief.

Comments
Comments: Fun day. Col between D & E was the hardest part in my opinion. Went up Wildcat Ridge & down Ski trails. Started late (like 10:45am late) and really didn't see too many people. Getting cold so please make sure you are packing extra gear. Overall fun day and the ski trails were a relief to go down, I actually enjoyed them. Short (>1 mile) road walk at the end.
