Comments
Comments: Well I was planning on heading up Valley Way but didn’t pay attention so I took randolph path to Airline. I could hear the freight train above but it was very warm out. Once I hit treeline did I put a layer or 2 on to immediately take one off. Only a long sleeve and wind jacket. It was super super windy but it was mostly warm wind. Both peaks were out and the King Ravine was pooring water on the other side making the falls very noticeable. I got almost to gulfside when a wind hit me and I thought it started sleeting but it was just rain. The thing that they were not called for of course. So I sat down quick to put my rainjacket on and continued on. The wind was strong but it didn’t move me and the rain came and went with a rainbow or two out. Hit the peak in a cloud and headed back down. Rained a few more times and then I made it to the hut for a half of a cookie. I heard back down valley way where it was a stream almost the entire way on trail. Hello mud season again.
