| Comments: |
About 6-7 cars on arrival at 10am, about twice as many early afternoon. Mix of hikers doing longer hikes, and tourists doing short treks to falls. Falls were flowing and pretty.
What foliage remains is kind of dull, tamarack are bright yellow right now. Some mushrooms along the trail, and bushes with various red berries.
Good views today despite cloud cover, clouds were high enough to see summits all around.
A couple of rocks were slick, some areas of wet leaves were slippery, but overall good footing on the trails.
A Blackhawk helicopter flew overhead, back and forth a couple of times on our descent.
