Trails were mostly dry with some minor mud at the chronically clogged culvert on the South Peak Trail.
Since it was early, I descended the mountain bike trail, which is holding up fairly well. Lots of slippery oak leaves, but someone was working their way up with a leaf blower.
Brisk morning with temperatures in the 40s - 20 degree drop vs. yesterday morning. Partly sunny first thing, before the forecast rain. Foliage past peak, but still plenty of gold and brown leaves. |
