There are some muddy spots with standstill water, but you can easily navigate them by rock hopping. The wood plank walkways were also slippery. |

Overall, it was a great hike and a good day to do it since the previous warm days melted all the snow/ice. I definitely recommend bringing microspikes as a precaution. I wasn't able to stay at the top of Eisenhower too long because of windchill but the view was the best one I've ever seen. Be prepared to bundle up and have some extra dry layers if you tend to sweat a lot. Luckily, the fog, snow and hail didn't settle in until I was on my way down. |
