| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There is one nasty blowdown across the VW about 2 1/2 miles up. Just the wrong height - can't climb over, hard to crawl under, no apparent walk around. After the snow builds up it will be truly bad. |

Congratulations to Postal Patty for completing her over 60 grid on Madison. She is one tough Iron Woman!
Just enough patchy ice on the Valley Way to make rock spikes a good choice. In some places the ice is hard to see because of the leaves and snow. You'll be Ok bareboots but beat up traction makes life easier.
Only about an inch of powder up high. |
