Sarge loves the snow so he had a blast as usual. I applied mushers wax to his pads for protection for the snow and ice and put him in his little puffy jacket to stay comfortable in the colder temps for above Jacob's Ladder. |

| Comments: |
Right now it is pretty straightforward hiking up to Washington via the Cog. Dusting of snow down low and maybe a few inches up high, no drifts, some minimal ice on a few rocks here and there but no problem barebooting up. I barebooted down too with no issues but rock spike would be fine too because of slippery snow on the loose rocks.
Cold but comfortable morning up high, great views in all directions. |
